Add learners yourself

You do not have to wait for people to find your enrollment page. You can put someone into a course directly, useful for a client you have just signed, a colleague who should see the material, or anyone who signed up somewhere else.
Adding someone
Open the course, and from the Enroll Learner menu, choose Manual Email. You can simply enter their email, and they will be enrolled.
Only admins and instructors can do this. Editors can build courses but not enroll people into them.
It skips the confirmation step
Somebody enrolling from your public page has to confirm their address before anything is sent. Somebody you add does not, the course starts straight away, and the first lesson goes out on its own schedule.
You are vouching for the address
The confirmation email is what normally stops somebody receiving a course they never asked for. Adding a learner yourself removes it, so the judgement moves to you.
Only add addresses that have a reason to expect this. A course arriving unasked is spam to the person receiving it, however good it is, and enough of those damages delivery for every learner you have.
If they are already enrolled
Adding somebody who is already on the course does nothing. They are not enrolled twice and their progress is untouched.
When it is refused
Your plan is full. The cap counts people with at least one course currently running.
The address is blocked. Usually because mail to it has bounced repeatedly or was reported as spam.
Adding a lot of people
Adding learners one at a time is fine for a handful. For more than that, use one of these instead:

The Organization API - Enroll directly from your own systems. A signed contract or closed deal will trigger the enrollment process for you. Please refer to our API schema.
Zapier Integration - Use your own tools to create a Zap that establishes an integration to enroll learners when triggered by an event in your systems.
