Connect an AI assistant (MCP)

You can connect an AI assistant — anything that supports MCP, such as Claude, directly to your course content. Instead of copying lessons into a chat and pasting the results back, the assistant reads and writes them where they live.
What it can do

The last two are where it earns its keep. An assistant that has read your existing lessons writes the next one in the voice you already established, rather than in its own.
Nothing goes out without you
Everything it creates is an unpublished draft
A lesson or quiz written by an assistant is created unpublished, exactly as if you had drafted it yourself. Nothing reaches a learner until a person publishes it from the platform.
It also cannot delete anything, cancel an enrollment, touch your learners, see your billing, or create tracks, routing rules or decision points.
Connecting it
In an assistant that supports MCP, add a connector using the address
https://mcp.inboxacademy.io.You will be asked to sign in to Inbox Academy and approve the connection.
The assistant can then work with the courses in the organizations you belong to.
You are not handing over a password, nor is there a key to paste. The connection can be revoked from your account at any time.

It works with your own permissions
The assistant acts as you, and can do nothing you could not do yourself.
Admins and editors can read and write content.
Instructors and viewers can read only. An assistant connected to their account can summarise and answer questions about courses, but not change them.
It only ever sees the organizations you are a member of.
Limits during your trial
On a free trial, an organization gets 200 read actions and 50 write actions per day, shared across everyone in it. The count resets at midnight UTC.
That is enough to draft a full course in a sitting. If you hit it, the assistant will say so and it clears the next day. Paid plans have no limit.
